CF-MB advises managing director of Euro-Express Sonderzüge GmbH & CO. KG exclusively on the financing of a management buy-out

we are pleased to inform you that we exclusively advised the managing director of EURO-EXPRESS SONDERZÜGE GmbH & Co. KG, Münster, on the financing of a management buy-out.

The management acquired the main assets of EURO-EXPRESS SONDERZÜGE GmbH & Co. KG within the framework of an asset deal and thus arranged the company succession for the company founder, Mr. Heinz Müller. The acquisition financing was made possible by a long-term lease from COMCO Leasing GmbH, Neuss. Sparkasse Münsterland-Ost provides a senior operating line of credit to finance ongoing business operations.

EURO-EXPRESS SONDERZÜGE GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1992 and is today the leading private operator of passenger coaches in Germany with its own fleet of more than 40 seating, couchette, bar, dining, dance and luggage coaches and can carry more than 2,500 passengers at any one time. The company continuously invests in its own vehicle fleet and meets all safety requirements of German and European railroads.

The business model includes both the company's own marketing of the cars and cooperation with Deutsche Bahn AG, European state railroads and various private railroads. The vehicles are used, among other things, for company outings, incentive trips, product presentations and for pilgrimage trains to Lourdes. In club tourism, the cars are chartered out exclusively to Müller-Touristik.
